The mission of The Senior Times Newspaper is to deliver an inspiring and informative monthly publication while encouraging our readers to enrich and enjoy life.

Serving New England: From Boston to New Hampshire and Beyond
The Senior Times Newspaper has been publishing since 1977 and in that time we have witnessed many changes! The biggest change, as we now know, is the “BabyBoomer” explosion! Today, the largest and fastest growing population in America are folks 50+ and they are enjoying life to the fullest and are now affectionately known as BabyBoomers. No longer content to stay home and say they are “old” these folks are out and about in the community – volunteering, learning and contributing. This is the information we like to share with our readers each month.
Each month you will find articles that our readers want to read about! Banking, retirement living, financial planning, educational opportunities and travel features as well as healthcare and wellness information. Our interesting life and entertainment stories are written by local community neighbors. Realizing that folks like to know what is going on in New England and love to get in the car and go for the day or the weekend – we give our readers articles with as much information as we can to help you do just that! With over 1000 drop off sites for the Senior Times Newspaper you will find our free newspaper in the cities and towns listed under the tab Pick Up A Copy. We distribute to libraries, senior centers, convenience stores and most supermarkets in these areas.
We are excited to announce that beginning July 1st 2009, we will be distributing in York County, Maine. With the popularity the Senior Times is enjoying – why not expand into Maine!
Being an independent publisher offers so many more advantages than the “big guys”. I cannot only choose what is published, but “squeak” articles and ads in at the very last moment! I invite you to submit ideas, articles and other information you think our readers would enjoy. We want to share your news with our readers. Please feel free to call me at any time or email me! The Senior Times also loves to promote businesses, so if you would like to get the word out about your business, please send us a press release. Our deadline is always the 20th of each month for the following month’s publication.
At the end of the day, I love what I do – I enjoy sharing not only inspiring and informative information, but also the good stuff! I like to say that we put the “good stuff” in the paper – it’s a formula that works; we are proud and happy to bring it to you - once again – Welcome to the Voice of Today’s NEW Seniors!
Sincerely,![]()
