Our Mission

The mission of The Senior Times Newspaper is to deliver an inspiring and informative monthly publication while encouraging our readers to enrich and enjoy life.

Welcome to The Senior Times

Welcome To The Voice of “Today’s New Seniors”

Serving New England from Boston to New Hampshire and Beyond

We hope you have been able to pick up a copy of our latest issue and like our new look! The Senior Times Newspaper has been publishing since 1977 and in that time one would expect many changes. The biggest change, as we now know, is the “Baby Boomer” explosion! The largest and fastest growing population in America today is folks 50+ and they are enjoying life to the fullest - It seems to me that the word “Senior” is slowly being changed to the word “Baby Boomer”, though I am not sure that this is the final word the world will choose. No longer content to stay home and say they are “old” these folks are out and about in the community – volunteering, learning and contributing. This is the information we like to share with our readers each month.

We have taken our Boston area issue and our NH area issue and have now merged them into one issue – beginning with our July 1st, 2007 paper. Realizing that folks like to know what is going on in New England and like to get in the car and go for the day or the weekend – we decided to give you as much information as we can to help you do just that! Of course, we’ve still got our articles about retirement, financial planning, retirement housing as well as our interesting life and entertainment stories – written by local community neighbors. With over 1000 drop off sites for The Senior Times Newspaper and with the addition of the Manchester, Concord, Nashua and Merrimack areas, please check our website at to see where you can pick up your free copy!

Being an independent publisher offers so many more advantages than the “big guys”. I can not only choose what is published, but “squeak” articles in at the very last moment! I invite you to submit ideas, articles and other information you think our readers would enjoy. Please call me at any time or email me! The Senior Times also loves to promote businesses, so if you would like to get the word out about your business, please feel free to drop us a press release. Our deadline is always the 20th of each month for the following month’s publication.

At the end of the day, I love what I do – I enjoy sharing not only inspiring and informative information, but also the good stuff! I like to say that we put the “good stuff” in the paper – it’s a formula that works and we are so proud and happy to bring it to you and, once again – Welcome to the Voice of Today’s NEW Seniors!

Sincerely,

Deborah A. Bouchard, Publisher
